How Guste turned belief, bravery, and a one-way ticket into her dream international career

“I manifested these jobs,” she says. “I used to scroll through their Instagrams and think, ‘Imagine working with them.’ And now… I’m doing it.”
In just a few months, Guste’s portfolio transformed. She started landing real fashion campaigns, creating high-end content with some of the best creatives in Bali, and carving out a space that felt true to her.
What makes Bali so special, she says, is the energy. “In Europe, there’s so much pressure. You get rejected for your height, your shape, your everything. But here, it’s different. People see you for your presence. For your vibe. And there’s space to grow. It’s supportive.”
She’s not wrong. Her advice to other models thinking about making the jump?
“Do it. Even if it’s scary. Even if you have no plan. If you feel it in your gut, follow it. Work hard. Stay open. Believe in yourself. And don’t quit when it gets uncomfortable. That’s when the real magic happens.”
